Blepharoplasty, or an “eyelid lift”, is an eyelid surgery designed to give the area around the eyes a more youthful, refreshed appearance. A blepharoplasty can be performed on just the upper eyelids, just the lower eyelids, or both. Dr. Goldfarb is experienced in many different techniques for blepharoplasty, which allows him to customize your surgery to best suit your facial characteristics and aesthetic goals. These techniques include selective removal of skin or fat, or in the case of the lower eyelids, transconjunctival incisions (no external eyelid incisions) and fat transpositioning (smoothing the tear trough).
